What are 3D Prints made of?
We use PLA as our material of choice for 3D Prnting.
It has the material qualities of being both rigid and hard-wearing whilst being tough.
It is easy to glue Thick CA SuperGlue.
It is easy to sand with 400, 320 and 180 grit wet-and-dry sandpaper using lots of water to ensure the sandpaper never clogs and the 3D prints kept cool.
Do not expose the 3D prints to heat over 50c, such as drying on radiators.
Paiint with acrylic paints.
