These are Door Kick Plates for the Chevrolet Gen 5 Camaro 2010 to 2015.
Made in the UK from 2mm thick Aluminium.
Simply send us an image or file of your design wishes and we will provide a design mockup before we go ahead with your Order.

You have 3 types to choose from:

ALUMINIUM

PLAIN:
These have no cutout design.

CUSTOM:
These have your own custom cutout design, logo or identity and can be different for driver and passenger side.The are supplied straight from the laser-cutter and will require finishing and polishing.

READY MADE:
As per CUSTOM but finished and polished [not a true mirror shine] by us with colour backing and ready to stick on.

Instructions: Materials

You will need [not included]:
1 * Methylated Spirits.
1 * Spray Can Adhesion Promoter (Halfords UK).

You will also need [not included with PLAIN or CUSTOM]:
1 * SuperGlue (for colour backing variation)
1 or 2** Rolls of 3M [10-1000] 20mm wide 1mm thick Automotive Tape.
2 rolls are to add extra depth if you put a coloured board (<1mm thick) behind the cutouts.

Instructions: Fitting:

PLAIN, CUSTOM:

1. Clean the Door Card / Vinyl extremely well to remove any grease, polish or build-up of dirt. Let it dry well.
2. Clean the area with methylated sports until the clean cloth has not marks on it anymore, let it dry.
3. Spray the area with Adhesion Promoter (Halfords UK), wipe off any runs, let it dry for 15 minutes.
4. Spray again with Adhesion Promoter, wipe of any runs, let it dry for an hour.
5. Adhere (super glue or long-lasting tape) any coloured thin plastic card [0.9mm thick**] to the back of the Kick Plate first if you wish.
6. Add 3M tape to the backing.
7. Press to attach, hold there for at least 8 hours (using clamps), allow tape to stick/hold for at least 24-48 hours.

PLAIN, CUSTOM, READY MADE

1. Clean the Door Card / Vinyl extremely well to remove any grease, polish or build-up of dirt. Let it dry well.
2. Clean the area with methylated sports until the clean cloth has not marks on it anymore, let it dry.
3. Spray the area with Adhesion Promoter (Halfords UK), wipe off any runs, let it dry for 15 minutes.
4. Spray again with Adhesion Promoter, wipe of any runs, let it dry for an hour.
5. Decide if you need a Second Layer of 3M Tape considering the flatness of your Door Card.
6. Press to attach, hold there for at least 8 hours (using clamps), allow tape to stick/hold for at least 24-48 hours.

Care and Maintenance:

ALUMINIUM

To clean and look after your 2mm thick Aluminium Door Kick Plates, you can lightly sand them with 600 & 1200 wet’n’dry sandpaper.
Be careful not to discolour any coloured Vinyl colour inlay your design may have.
Use some CarPlan Demon Shine (Halfords UK) applied to a soft cloth first and polished onto the Aluminium.

STAINLESS STEEL

To clean and look after your 2-3mm thick Stainless Steel Door Kick Plates, you can lightly sand them with 600 & 1200 wet’n’dry sandpaper.
Be careful not to discolour any coloured Vinyl colour inlay your design may have.
Use some CarPlan Demon Shine (Halfords UK) applied to a soft cloth first and polished onto the Aluminium.
